In Unit 2 we take a single hue family and explore its range. You’ll see how small shifts in light and dark can change the way a surface turns, recedes or comes forward.
We start with a gradation working in one hue and three values, before exploring the Chromatic scale of yellow and yellow orange.
The study for this unit is a Lemon, where you apply your knowldege of andamento and value to model form while keeping your colour choice controlled and deliberate.
