Jim Stewart brings a lifetime of experience in Television and Video to the Art of Andamento. With extensive experience as a freelance Editor, Post Producer, Executive Producer, Director and Writer, he has credits across a broad range of genres including Documentaries, TV Series, Sport, Movie Trailers, TV Commercials, Music Video and Corporate Video.

Some recent series include MasterChef, The Voice, Survivor and everybody’s guilty pleasure, The Bachelor.

 A long list of clients and achievements includes the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games (bid and proposal), Netflix, ABC America, Fremantle Media, Endemol Shine, Warner Bros, Village Roadshow, all Australian TV Networks, ESPN, The ARIA Awards, Sony, Microsoft, The National Rugby League, NSW Sport, and a host of international advertising clients.

Really, the only thing missing from this extensive list of professional engagements, was to imagine and produce the video component of an online Mosaic Curriculum. Until now…

Michelena is a self-taught mosaic artist and specialist in community engagement, with over two decades of experience designing school residencies and leading collaborative public art projects.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, she has co-created mosaic murals with diverse communities across the city and beyond. As founder and director of a commercial studio space, she curated workshops and events for over seven years, contributing to the revitalization of an inner-city neighbourhood. Michelena has collaborated on large-scale works with internationally renowned artists in Canada, the US, Mexico, and Australia.

A passionate advocate, she volunteers with mosaic organizations in both Canada and Australia. She also shares her knowledge as a presenter and facilitator at national exhibitions, while exploring her own creative voice as a memoir mosaicist weaving storytelling and sentiment into her fine art work.
